COMPTON – Four suspects who’d been involved in a bloody armed commercial robbery on April 3rd, 2022 have been the focus of Los Angeles County Sheriffs (LASD) Investigators ever since. The quartet’s attempt to hold up a business on the 1500 block of S. Wilmington Avenue has provided varied dire results for all involved.
First, the four individuals entered the “Smoke Shop” at 6:54 PM, drew their guns, and pointed them at an employee. In an attempt to thwart tragedy, that employee – the business’ armed security guard – withdrew his handgun.
