Fresno police have arrested two suspects in connection to the alleged shooting of a 10-year-old girl.
On the evening of Wednesday, April 6, police received reports of gunfire on the 2800 block of West Alamos. Shortly after officers arrived, they were notified that a 10-year-old girl had been the victim of a shooting and had just been admitted to the emergency room at Community Regional Medical.
Investigators learned that the girl had been playing at the park when she’d been shot by unknown subjects, police said.
Detectives soon identified a 17-year-old juvenile as the suspected shooter and 18-year-old Kai Domingo-McPeters as the driver of the suspect vehicle, police said.
Both the juvenile and Domingo-McPeters were located and arrested on Thursday, April 28. A third suspect, whose name has not been released, has yet to be arrested.
