“PRESS RELEASE: On Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at about 12:25 p.m., agents with the Siskiyou County Domestic Highway Enforcement (DHE) team were conducting traffic enforcement on Interstate-5 north of Yreka. The agents initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a white Kia sedan with a Minnesota license plate after observing multiple traffic violations.
The Kia was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger. The driver was identified as 28-year-old Bryce Crawford out of Woodstock Georgia, and the female was identified as 18-year-old Breanna Gary also out of Woodstock Georgia.
During the course of the investigation, the agents observed criminal indicators that led them to believe that criminal activity was afoot. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted where the agents located more than 85 pounds of blue pills, suspected to contain Fentanyl, along with $14,000 cash.
Crawford and Gary were both placed under arrest and transported to the Siskiyou County Jail where they were booked for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, and Felony Transportation of a Controlled Substance for Sale.
