Escondido PD: Felon with ghost gun and drugs arrested ten times since 2020

“On May 7, 2022, officers from the Escondido Police Department observed, Craig Blas, a known wanted felon in the parking lot of 1333 E Grand Ave.
The 32-year-old Escondido resident had a felony no-bail warrant for Probation Violation. Blas is known to the Escondido Police Department for prior weapons, drugs, and violence. An arrest plan was formulated by Escondido Police to make the arrest.
When contacted, Blas ran from the officers but was taken into custody. Blas was found to be in possession of an un-serialized handgun, 235 fentanyl pills, 3.56 grams of powder fentanyl, 35.85 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded magazine, and other evidentiary items consistent with narcotics sales. He is currently on PRCS Probation and County Felony Probation.”
