“On May 23, 2021, San Bernardino Police patrol officers were dispatched to the 900 block W. 23rd Street regarding a deceased person at a residence. As officers conducted their initial investigation, it was determined that the decedent was a victim of homicide.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation. Extensive follow-up was conducted by members of the homicide unit, and through this process, Robert Dilworth and Geoffrey Saffa were identified as suspects involved in this crime, and arrest warrants were issued for them.
On June 11, 2022, Dilworth was arrested by the San Bernardino County Sheriff‘s Department for his outstanding homicide warrant, and yesterday Saffa was located by SBPD investigators and arrested.
San Bernardino PD remains committed to protecting our residents and will aggressively pursue violent criminals no matter how long it takes to bring them to justice, and these arrests demonstrate those efforts. Outstanding work by everyone involved in this prolonged investigation.”
