Convicted felon arrested after shooting pellet gun into residences and near public area in Fountain Valley

A convicted felon from Fountain Valley was arrested after he was accused of shooting a high-powered pellet gun into people’s homes and near a public area.
The suspect, 42-year-old Joseph Pham, was arrested following a residence search that yielded a variety of illicit items, including methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia, ammunition, high capacity magazines, hunting scopes, two ghost guns (a Glock 43 handgun and an AR-15 rifle), and additional high-powered pellet guns and handguns.
On July 1st, Fountain Valley police received a report of someone shooting a high-powered pellet gun near a public area in the 10000 block of El Plano. After he was detained, police ran a records check, which showed that “he is a convicted felon,” according to Fountain Valley police. Additionally, “Pham was a recent person of interest in previous calls for service regarding shooting a high powered pellet rifle into neighboring residences.”
Pham was arrested after his home was searched later than evening. He was booked at Orange County Jail on a number of charges, including felon in possession of ghost guns, ammunition, high capacity magazines, methamphetamine, and narcotics paraphernalia; as well as felony vandalism and shooting into an inhabited dwelling. His bail was set at $25,000.
