“Detectives from the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered Esteban Chavez (27 years of age) was downloading Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) over the internet.
On July 19, 2022, a search warrant was served at Chavez’ residence (7800 block of Almeria Ave) in the City of Fontana. During the search warrant, Detectives seized multiple electronic devices. Evidence relating to the downloading of CSAM was located.
Chavez was arrested for Possession of CSAM and booked at West Valley Detention Center.
