“Early this morning Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Marguerite Avenue in regards to a suspicious vehicle. The reporting party stated the occupants of the vehicle were involved with some type of disturbance.
Officer’s arrived on scene and attempted contact with the individuals in the vehicle who denied that they were involved in a disturbance and then proceeded to drive away from Officers.
Due to nature of the call and the suspicious actions made by the occupants of the vehicle, Officers followed the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle saw Officers following and attempted to avoid contact.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Raphy Medrano, age 30, of Passaic New Jersey. Officers discovered two fully extraditable warrants for Raphy’s arrest from New Jersey for his involvement in a Armed Robbery and Homicide.
An additional Tehama County warrant was located for Felon in Possession of a Loaded Firearm. The passenger who was identified as Rafael Cordero, age 36, of Passaic New Jersey was also arrested for public intoxication.
