“Little after midnight on Wednesday in the area of Dino Drive, a vigilant community member, who was working in the area, saw someone under a parked vehicle cutting the catalytic converter. After successfully cutting the converter, the subject was seen walking away with the stolen converter.
The witness saw the subject hiding in the bushes and called us.
Thanks to the vigilant community member, the subject, later identified as 30-year-old Alonso Murillo, was found hiding in the bushes nearby with the stolen converter and a reciprocating saw.
Murillo was arrested for felony grand theft and booked at the Main Jail.”
