“Late last night, SLTPD Dispatch received a medical call of a subject unconscious in the bathroom at Raley’s Crescent V.
Officer Wallace located a subject who appeared to be overdosing on heroin (pictured above) and quickly administered Narcan, which improved the subject’s breathing enough that he was able to be transported to the hospital.
All of our officers carry Narcan for calls just like this!
If you locate anything that looks like this photo, do NOT touch it. Call SLTPD dispatch at 530-542-6100 right away and we will collect and destroy it.”
