Detectives Seek Info from Public in Sexual Assault Investigation

“On August 28, 2022, Michael Jimenez Ruiz (55) was arrested in relation to a sexual assault investigation conducted by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau (SEAB). Ruiz is a chiropractor working in several different locations throughout Sacramento County and had numerous clients/patients under his care. There are no further details at this time.
Michael Jimenez Ruiz was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on three counts that include oral copulation by force or fear of bodily injury, sexual battery for sexual arousal while victim is restrained and sexual battery. He was released on $170,000 bail the following day. Ruiz will appear in court on August 30, 2022 at 3pm to answer for the charges.
