“On Sunday, September 11, 2022, at approximately 09:20 p.m., a deputy from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Wasco City Substation conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 46 and Central Avenue in the City of Wasco. Upon contacting the driver, Cristofher Visoso (18-year-old male from Lost Hills) was found to be driving without a valid license.
Deputies also identified the passengers in the vehicle as David Garcia (20-year-old male from Lost Hills), Saul Ruiz (19-year-old male from Lost Hills), and a 15-year-old juvenile from Lost Hills. During a search of the vehicle and occupants, deputies located a loaded 9 mm handgun that was unregistered, two magazines for a firearm, suspected cocaine, and gang indicia.
Visoso, Garcia, and Ruiz were arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for participation in a criminal street gang, possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, and various additional charges.
The 15-year-old juvenile was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall for participation in a criminal street gang, possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of a loaded firearm by a juvenile, and various additional charges.
