Fresno police have announced the arrest of a suspect in the fatal stabbing of 20-year-old David Garza.

Police found Garza unresponsive on the 1400 block of P Street shortly after 12 AM on Saturday, September 24. He had sustained a stab wound to the upper chest, and was later pronounced dead at hospital, police said.

Witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect, and a man matching the description — identified as 26-year-old Teven Tyrone Bradley — was reportedly seen nearby.

Investigators soon learned that Bradley and Garza had been involved in an altercation prior to the stabbing, that Bradley later confronted Garza a second time, and that the second confrontation had resulted in Bradley allegedly stabbing Garza.

Bradley has since been arrested and booked on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at the Fresno County jail.
