Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred at Colony High School on October 1st.
Lawrence Langston, 37, was arrested on October 12th, and Everett Johnson, 25, was arrested on October 14th. The suspects, both residents of Pasadena, face charges of attempted murder.
Ontario police responded to Colony High School at around 10:45 AM after receiving a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man with “multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds,” according to police. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. The victim, who had been shot in the school parking lot, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Langston was arrested in Pasadena. Investigators identified Johnson as the second shooter and arrested him two days later in Covina. Both men were booked at West Valley Detention Center.
“Investigators recovered two firearms while taking Langston into custody,” said police. One firearm was recovered when Johnson was arrested.
“No one associated with this incident have any connection with Colony High School or the City of Ontario.”
