Fresno Man Accused of Criminal Threats to Local High School

Fresno police have announced the arrest of a man accused of making criminal threats towards a local high school.

23-year-old Jose Luis Castaneda was identified as the man suspected of threatening a shooting at Edison High School. Police began investigating on the morning of October 17 after being alerted to the multiple alleged phone threats.

Though Castaneda attempted to hide his identity, police said, they were still able to identify him as the suspect.

Castaneda was located and arrested at an apartment complex in the area of Dakota and Hughes Avenues and booked at the Fresno County jail on suspicion of making criminal threats.
