From October 29, 2022 – November 4, 2022 a multi-unit task force named “Operation Consequences” has been working tirelessly to suppress crime in the San Bernardino Area. The task force includes investigators with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Gangs/ Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Patrol Department of Homeland Security, and multiple patrol stations.
This amazing effort was approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors who authorized funds to assist in “Operation Consequences”. They worked together to help provide more law enforcement to the communities that were in dire need of more help to manage the escalated crime rate in these areas.
“Operation Consequences” focused their efforts over the week of October 29th through November 4th in the cities of Victorville and Hesperia. The team was able to serve 17 search warrants, make 50 felony arrests, seized 27 firearms including “ghost guns”, and recovered illegal drug paraphernalia and narcotics.
“Operation Consequences” will continue over the next several months. The plan is to help curb violent crime and help derail criminal street gangs to provide a better quality of life to the communities in the area.
