Nine Arrested, Numerous Fights Broken Up During DUI Patrol on Thanksgiving Eve

Petaluma PD arrested nine people amid extensive DUI patrol efforts downtown the night before Thanksgiving.

According to a media release via Nixle, the Department made 86 traffic stops, nine arrests, and documented twenty other infraction violations on Wednesday night, November 29.

The lines for the bars downtown were the largest they’ve been in years, police said, with some lines extending the full length of the 100 block of Kentucky Street. Police say they also broke up several fights.

The nine people arrested are identified as James Ures (51), Nelly Osorio (35), Rory Smith (30), Kenneth O’Neil (30), Havilah Belton (28), Megan Farnham (37), Mason McLain (21), Kenneth Woodward (30), and Dante Boggeri (24).

This was reportedly the highest number of DUI arrests in a single night this year, although the Department noted that the Keller Street parking garage near the bars was mostly empty and it appeared that most of the people who had gone out that night had used ride share services.
