Stockton PD arrested a juvenile suspect in a carjacking that happened on November 28th ,2022.
The victims were a 21 female and a 22 year old male. They were sitting in their car when they were approached by 3 suspects. The suspects were carrying handguns as they approached the vehicle. The man and woman were then forced out of their vehicle at gunpoint.
One of the suspects then fled the scene in the stolen vehicle as officer’s attempted to stop him from leaving. The 2 remaining suspects were seen fleeing in a separate vehicle. Stockton PD Officers then began to pursue the victims vehicle but were forced to stop the pursuit when public safety became a concern.
A short while later Officers noticed the vehicle as the suspect was walking away from the car. The suspect again fled the scene, this time on foot. Officers followed and were able to catch and arrest the suspect after a short foot pursuit.
The juvenile male was arrested and charged with weapons violations, carjacking, resisting arrest, and traffic violations.
Stockton PD made another weapons arrest on November 29th, 2022. After officers conducted an enforcement stop they searched the vehicle. Inside they found a loaded firearm and arrested the driver Andres Depalm (26). He is being charged with weapons violations.
