A Sacramento County man has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault committed under the guise of medical practice.

In a media release via Facebook, the Sheriff’s Office identified 64-year-old Pavel Rytikoff as the primary suspect in a sexual assault investigation by the Office’s Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau.

Investigators allege that Rytikoff assaulted an adult victim who’d sought out medical services from him. These services reportedly turned out to be fraudulent.

Rytikoff was booked on two counts of penetration by a foreign object by means of fraudulent representation, and one count of practicing medicine without a medical certificate. He was released later that day, the Sheriff’s Office said.

His next court appearance is scheduled for January 23, 2023.
