On May 14, 2022, Victor Hassan was reportedly booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 10, according to a media release by the Sheriff’s Office.
In this case, the victim was reportedly the child of one of Hassan’s long-time friends.
After the arrest, investigators learned of two other alleged victims, both in the Sacramento area.
Hassan “appeared to” have befriended the children’s mothers in order to get closer to the kids, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Detectives discovered that Hassan’s hometown is Los Gatos, California, but that he recently lived in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Kansas City, Missouri.
Child Abuse Bureau detectives are seeking information regarding additional potential victims and witnesses in those areas.
