Nevada County Woman Arrested for Alleged Narcotics Possession, Child Endangerment

A woman was recently arrested in Nevada County after allegedly driving on a suspended license and being caught with narcotics.

According to a Facebook media release by Nevada City Police Department, investigators received a tip of someone driving on a suspended license and possibly intoxicated.

Officers located the individual, identified as 43-year-old Brooke Mayfield, with her children in Grass Valley.

Mayfield was reportedly discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and a gun.

Mayfield was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth with intent to sell, possession of a firearm, child endangerment, driving on a suspended license, and violation of probation.
