Sacramento County Sheriff’s Gang Suppression Unit Detectives have been searching for 2 suspects linked to the Oak Park Blood Gang for the past 8 months. The search came to an end with the arrest of Treygee Tagami (28) and Leslie Rogers (30) who were taken into custody in December.
Tagami was arrested for outstanding warrants for assault with a deadly weapon, and felon in possession of a firearm. Rogers was arrested for outstanding warrants for attempted murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
According to records, Tagami has had an extensive criminal history. He has been arrested 7 times in Sacramento County since 2014. His prior arrests were for a variety of alleged offenses including conspiracy to commit a crime, burglary, possession of stolen property, vehicle theft, felonies committed while on bail or bond, resisting arrest, and charges of felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Records indicate that Rogers was also arrested in 2018 for outstanding warrants.
Rogers was located in Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. where he was taken into custody by DEA Agents and U.S. Marshalls. Tagami was arrested in West Sacramento bu Sacramento PD Officers.
At the time of his arrest Tagami was in possession of a stolen firearm with a high capacity magazine and automatic conversion switch. An unnamed juvenile suspect was also arrested with Tagami possession of a firearm that was located in his vehicle.
The arrests were made with a joint effort by the Sacramento PD, Reno PD, Las Vegas Metro PD, DEA, and U.S. Marshals Service. Both suspects were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and are due in court on December 28th.
