On December 26th Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene of a suspected stabbing. Deputies found a man and woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Both of the victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries for treatment.
As Deputies investigated the crime they identified the suspect as Elias Mosqueda (28). Mosqueda was located 2 hours after the stabbing in Bakersfield and detained by Bakersfield PD until Tulare County Sheriff’s Detectives arrived to bring him into custody.
He was booked on charges of attempted murder.
No details about what led to the stabbing have been released as of yet. The investigation is ongoing.
Both the victims have been released from the hospital and are expected to recover from their injuries.
