In a case that is being classified as one of the worst white-collar crimes in Fresno County history, Fresno County District Attorney’s Office has filed 35 criminal charges against 4 individuals, for defrauding multiple people across America out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The suspects were identified as Marcos Garza (36), Ana Ramirez (42), Laura Mora (52), and Olivia Rodriguez (55).

The Fresno H.E.A.T. (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) Task Force began an investigation into Garza after they discovered he had purchased a boat for $115,000 using stolen financial information.

As the investigation continued the Detectives discovered that Garza was operating under the name of Jay Mora, an alias. The name of his business was JMora Consulting; Credit Life Solutions. He was also operating a YouTube Channel called “The Wolf Trader” where he acted as a financial specialist who could repair bad credit.

It was also discovered by detectives that Garza was hosting seminars across the country as a motivational speaker. He used these seminars to gain new clients. After he acquired these clients he stole their information and set up illegal bank accounts, applied for credit cards, and purchased homes, boats, and numerous vehicles totaling more than $500,000. He did this with the help of his co-conspirators.

The suspects face severe penalties for these crimes. Garza and Ramirez face up to 28 years in prison and Mora faces 8 years and Rodriguez faces 4 years if convicted.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s want the public to be aware of this crime as there could be more victims out there who are unaware of these crimes. They are also still searching for one of the suspects Olivia Rodriguez.
