Two people were arrested after allegedly being caught with a ghost gun and narcotics during a traffic stop in late December, according to a Placer County Sheriff press release.
Late on the night of December 17, a Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Industrial Avenue and South Loop Road in unincorporated Lincoln, and detained the two occupants — identified as Juan Pineda (29) and Savannah Ball (32), both of Citrus Heights.
The deputy searched the vehicle and reportedly discovered a loaded gun without a serial number, loose 9mm bullets, five empty syringes, a baggy containing suspected methamphetamine, a syringe containing “an unknown clear substance,” and several credit cards that did not belong to either of them.
Both Pineda and Ball were arrested on suspicion of being felons in possession of a firearm that does not belong to them, being prohibited persons in possession of ammunition, and other charges.
