Ventura County, Ca. January 6, 2023 – He may only be 21 years old, but Camarillo resident Jacob Noah Oseguera is well on his way to a notorious criminal reputation.
It all seems to have started back in September of 2022 when he was arrested and charged with Felony Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury after he was involved in an altercation wherein he pulled a knife and attempted to stab another patron at Camarillo’s Take Five Cocktails.
According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sr. Deputy Dustin Heersche, Oseguera was involved in another altercation with even more deadly import just three months later, in December of 2022. The upshot of that incident was his arrest for felony attempted robbery, felony assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, brandishing a firearm, and vehicle tampering. A warrant for his arrest on those charges was issued.
Two weeks later, on January 3, 2023, Oseguera was spotted by VCSD Camarillo Police Department Patrol officers, whereupon contact was promptly initiated “in the area of Paseo Camarillo and Lantana Street” and he was taken into custody. During the course of the arrest, the cops discovered he was “in possession of a loaded firearm concealed on his person” as well as an unnamed controlled substance.
With Oseguera safely in custody, a search warrant of his home was executed, leading to the discovery of evidence related to “graffiti vandalism” and to contact with 46-year-old Lynette de los Santos, 62-year-old Ralph A. Reyes, and 42-year-old Victor Manueal Magana, all Camarillo residents. All three were taken into custody and arrested on multiple narcotics and weapons violations and then transported to Ventura County Jail where they joined Oseguera on no-bail holds.
