2023 is starting off strong for the Operation Consequences Team. So far this year they have made 42 felony arrests and confiscated 20 firearms as well as numerous narcotics.
During the week of January 7th – January 13th the task force served 20 search warrants leading to 17 arrests and 11 seized firearms. Also confiscated was fentanyl, methamphetamine, and heroine.
Operation Consequences is a task force that was created to lower crime rates in the San Bernardino counties. The task force includes members from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department Gang/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and Patrol Stations. The Sheriff’s Department is working with other agencies including the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino County Probation, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
Since this task force began last year the task force has made a total of 300 felony arrests, confiscated 175 firearms, and also gotten pounds of narcotics off the streets. They will be continuing this effort over the next few months.
