On Tuesday, Tulare County Sheriff’s Office detectives served a warrant at a home in the 9600 block of Road 236 in Terra Bella in connection with an alleged armed robbery that took place on February 4th at the C&F Market.
During the warrant, law enforcement officials arrested a 17-year-old boy for his alleged involvement in the robbery.
Authorities reportedly discovered that the teen was in possession of a loaded, unregistered pistol, cocaine packaged for sale, and gang paraphernalia. Officials arrested the juvenile on suspicion of armed robbery, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, and gang-related offenses.
Investigators also found approximately one pound of cocaine and 1,000 counterfeit prescription “M-30” pills, believed to contain fentanyl, in a common area of the home. The discovery led to the arrests of three other individuals.
The boy’s mother, 47-year-old Maria Alfaro-Correa, his adult brother, 22-year-old Jesus Correa, and the mother’s boyfriend, 32-year-old Ulises Avila-Abrego, were all arrested on charges of child endangerment and maintaining a home for narcotics sales.
Authorities also discovered that a 12-year-old girl also lived in the home. The child was placed in protective custody by Child Welfare Services.
