During the week of February 11th the Operation Consequences task force made another 7 felony arrests, and was able to get another 10 illegal firearms off the streets.
The Operation Consequences task force was created to assist in county wide crime suppression. They are aiming to help curb some of the main crime concerns of the community in relation to gang and other criminal organizations in the area.
So far the operation has been very successful. With tips and thorough investigations leading to a total of 361 felony arrests, 226 illegal firearms confiscated, as well as many pounds of illegal narcotics seized since starting in October of 2022.
The task force is comprised of several departments from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department including the Gang/Narcotics Division, Specialized Enforcement Division, and Patrol Stations in the area. The Sheriff’s Department is also working with the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Probation Department, and the Department of Homeland Security.
