San Diego- An off-duty San Diego police officer has been arrested and suspended pending investigations after a domestic violence incident on February 23. The San Diego Police Department Communications Center received a 911 call reporting the incident in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego at around 5:30 PM.
On-duty officers arrived at the scene and arrested Officer James Walker on domestic violence-related charges. He was booked into the San Diego County Jail. His peace officer powers have been removed, and he has been suspended from duty pending the outcome of criminal and internal investigations. Both investigations will be handled by the SDPD.
