Two individuals have been arrested in connection the death of a man police discovered during a disturbance call in Chula Vista.
According to a police press release, the incident occurred on the 2700 block of Faivre Street shortly after 11:30 PM. Responding officers located a man with severe injuries. Despite life-saving attempts by medical responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Marco Cordero, 43, from Chula Vista.
Police have since identified and arrested two individuals as suspects in connection with the crime.
Both suspects had serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment, and were later arrested on suspicion of murder after being identified as suspects from witness statements.
One of the suspects, Yeshua Valenzuela, 18, was booked into the San Diego County jail, while the other suspect, Joseph Valenzuela, 22, is still receiving medical treatment and is under guard, police said.
