“On Saturday, April 1, 2023, at approximately 1:04 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Tenderloin Station responded to the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a 52-year-old adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts by medical personnel, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
This incident is being investigated by the SFPD Homicide Detail.
