El Dorado Hills, California – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) detectives successfully executed two search warrants in the Sacramento area leading to the arrest of two suspects and the recovery of one stolen firearm.
The investigation began after a burglary occurred in El Dorado Hills where multiple firearms were stolen. EDSO detectives initiated an investigation and worked closely with allied Sacramento law enforcement agencies to identify the suspects. It was discovered that they were out of the Sacramento area.
Detectives authored two search warrants, which were executed successfully in the Sacramento area, resulting in the arrests of the two suspects and the recovery of one stolen firearm. Both suspects were booked into the El Dorado County Jail. The investigation is still ongoing.
EDSO extends their gratitude to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Detail, the California Department of Corrections Parole Agents, and the Sacramento Police Department for their assistance in the case.
