“San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas Freitas announced defendant Randall Lee Allenbaugh was found guilty of the following charges relating to a November 2021 double homicide:

PC 187, First Degree Murder with PC 12022(b)(1), Personal Use of Knife

PC 187, First Degree Murder with PC 12022(b)(1), Personal Use of Knife

PC 190.2(A)(3), Special Circumstance, Multiple Murders

“My condolences are with Skyler McConnell and Chimera Skaggs’ families during this painful time,” said District Attorney Ron Freitas.

“Thank you to Supervising Deputy District Attorney Danielle Peirano and the Lodi Police Department for holding the defendant accountable for this horrible, tragic, and senseless act of violence.”

On November 16, 2021, Lodi Police Department Officers were dispatched to Salas Park near Harney Lane on reports of two critically injured teenagers. The victims, Skyler McConnell, 17, and Chimera Skaggs, 16, were found stabbed to death near the railroad tracks.

The defendant returns to the San Joaquin County Superior Court before the Honorable Judge Charlotte Orcutt on June 12, 2023 for sentencing.”
