Loaded Gun, Cocaine, and More Seized During Late April and Early May Traffic Stops

“On April 29th, San Benito County Sheriff Office Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, the strong odor of fresh marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. Both people in the car were under 21 years of age and not legally allowed to possess the large amount of marijuana. During a search, a loaded gun and cocaine were located in the car. The driver was arrested and booked into the San Benito County Jail for various firearm and drug-related offenses.
On May 2nd, Deputy Humphreys stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. There were 4 men and 1 juvenile, with one of the men being on probation. A search was performed and two loaded guns were located inside of the car. All of the occupants were arrested and booked at the San Benito County Jail and Juvenile Hall for various firearm charges.”
