Willows, CA – John Sanzone, a former employee of the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, surrendered himself to authorities after three warrants were issued for his arrest. Sanzone faces three felony charges, including Grand Theft, Grand Theft – Money, Labor, Property, and Embezzlement. After being booked into the Glenn County Jail, Sanzone was released on bail.
Sanzone’s employment with the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office was terminated before completing probation, following allegations of misconduct. The Sheriff’s Office took these allegations seriously, promptly placing Sanzone on administrative leave before ultimately releasing him from employment. The Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to upholding integrity and serving the community of Glenn.
The investigation leading to the charges against Sanzone was carried out by the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office. The Glenn County District Attorney’s office will handle the prosecution of this case.
