Former Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Employee Arrested on Grand Theft Charges

Willows, CA – John Sanzone, a former employee of the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, was taken into custody and booked into the Glenn County Jail on the basis of a warrant issued for his arrest. The charges against Sanzone include felony offenses of Grand Theft by Embezzlement, as specified by sections 484A, 487A, and 503 of the California Penal Code. Following the booking process, Sanzone was subsequently released from custody after posting bail.
Sanzone’s arrest stems from allegations of embezzlement and grand theft, involving the misappropriation of money, labor, and property. The investigation leading to these charges was diligently carried out by the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office, which uncovered compelling evidence to support the accusations.
