Santa Rosa Police Investigate Shooting on Dutton Avenue; No Suspects Identified
Authorities in Sonoma County have opened an investigation into an alleged shooting on Dutton Avenue in Santa Rosa last week, which police say may have been a targeted incident.
According to a press release by the Santa Rosa Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunshots on the 600 block of Dutton Avenue on the evening of Monday, June 5. Upon arrival, officers discovered a Ford Mustang with shattered front windows. No suspects or victims were found at the scene, but several shell casings were located near the vehicle, police said.

Detectives learned that the victims, accompanied by family members, had been driven to a nearby hospital. It was determined that only one person sustained injuries during the shooting.
