Two Arrested for Allegedly Burglarizing Vehicles in Irvine Storage Lot

Two individuals have been apprehended and taken into custody after allegedly engaging in illicit activities at a vehicle storage lot.
According to a press release by the Irvine Police Department, the incident occurred on Saturday, June 3, when the accused persons allegedly cut a hole in the lot’s fence and stole items from several stored vehicles. Following this, on Sunday, June 4, the suspects allegedly returned through the previously created opening in the fence to continue the thefts.
Upon reviewing video surveillance footage, the property manager identified the individuals and contacted the appropriate authorities. Dispatch was subsequently notified and sent officers to the scene. Law enforcement officers successfully located both suspects still present on the premises and detained them, police said.
Further examination revealed that the suspects’ vehicle, parked at a neighboring establishment, was heavily loaded with various intriguing items, including a “Jaws of Life” tool, shaved keys, a catalytic converter that belonged to an RV, and a selection of tools, as depicted in the accompanying photographs.
Keith Nunez (45) of Stanton and Paul Jalbert (45) of Ontario were placed under arrest and are facing an assortment of charges, which reportedly include burglary, conspiracy, and narcotics possession. The accused individuals were swiftly transported to the Orange County jail to await legal proceedings.
