“On June 21 at around 12:29 am, Officer Bailey and Officer Driscoll were working as a two officer unit, when they saw a driver make an unsafe lane change near Travis Boulevard and Holiday Lane.
When the officers conducted a traffic stop for the violation, the driver informed them that there was a firearm at his feet.
The driver, 23-year-old Daejon Arnold of Oakland, was detained. A subsequent search of his vehicle revealed a loaded 9 mm handgun inside of a backpack, with a round in the chamber. The firearm was not registered. Arnold was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm and card a concealed weapon.
Although Arnold stated he has a concealed carry weapon license through the State of Georgia, the State of California does not honor any other state’s concealed carry permits.”
