“On June 22nd, at 7:02 AM, an armed robbery was reported at a gas station located at the 100 block of S. Park Victoria Drive. The suspect threatened the clerk and took approximately $600 cash from the register. The suspect fled in a black sedan. MPD Detectives identified the suspect vehicle with the aid of Automated License Plate Readers (ALPR). They were also able to identify the robbery suspect who is on federal probation for weapons violations. Today, Milpitas Police detectives arrested the suspect in San Jose without incident. A search of his residence yielded a replica firearm believed to have been used in the robbery. The suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for robbery.
