The call came in at approximately 7:50 PM from 46-year-old Clinton M Maxwell, a resident of Ukiah, CA. Maxwell informed the dispatcher that he had taken a drastic step in self-defense, shooting his neighbor whom he discovered trespassing on his property. Upon arrival, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies approached the scene with caution, ensuring the safety of all involved. Maxwell was apprehended without resistance and taken into custody.
