15-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Tulare County Homicide

Farmersville, CA — The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has announced the identification and arrest of a suspect in the Linnell Camp murder case.

On August 18 just before 11 PM, Tulare County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting incident on the 400 block of Outer Drive in Linnell Camp. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Blake Pecego from Tulare, was reportedly found in his car with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Tulare County Sheriff Homicide detectives have reportedly identified a 15-year-old male as one of the two suspects in connection with the murder. The suspect was successfully located and taken into custody without incident. He was booked at the county juvenile detention facility on suspicion of murder.

Detectives later executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home and reportedly uncovered additional evidence linking him to the crime.
