“On 8-24-2023, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests in Gasquet, California.
A vehicle with two occupants traveled through back roads during the evacuation of Low Divide and made their way down Gasquet Mountain Road and onto Hwy 199, where they were spotted by local Law Enforcemnt.
A firearm, narcotics and stolen property from a residence were found during the arrest and search of the suspects vehicle.
Misty Croan was arrested during the traffic stop conducted by deputies. The second suspect, Jose Perez fled the area but was apprehended shortly after.
Both suspects are being held at the Del Norte County Jail on charges including PC 30305, PC 29800, PC 496 and PC 490.5″
