Davis Police Investigate Alleged Sexual Battery on Alvarado Court

Davis Police have opened an investigation into an alleged sexual battery that took place earlier this week.

According to a press release, officers responded to the area of Alvarado Avenue and Espana Court to investigate a report of a sexual battery on the evening of Wednesday, September 27.

The victim reported seeing the suspect leaning against a car as she walked along Alvarado Avenue. As she passed him, the man allegedly reached out and groped her, and then quickly fled the scene.

The victim described the suspect as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, dark pants, dark shoes, and a black Balaclava with eyeglasses over it.

The suspect was last seen fleeing north along Alvarado Avenue toward Espana Court, police said.
