In a significant operation on October 10th, officers from the Grass Valley Police Department (GVPD) and investigators from the Nevada County District Attorney’s Office executed a search warrant in the 2400 block of Ridge Road.
During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement officers uncovered a wide array of narcotics and a functioning drug lab. The discovery included approximately one pound of methamphetamine, 12 grams of heroin, eight grams of fentanyl, and a loaded shotgun. But the list of findings didn’t end there.
Officers also came across a functioning Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) lab, shedding light on an even more complex and far-reaching operation. DMT, a powerful hallucinogenic substance, is known for its intense psychoactive effects. The existence of such a lab within the residence raised serious concerns about the nature and scope of the activities taking place on Ridge Road.
The individual alleged to be at the center of this operation, identified as Quinn Coburn, was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. Coburn now faces a litany of charges. The charges against him include possession of a controlled substance for sale, manufacturing a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the use and sale of narcotics, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a controlled substance while armed.
