Maybe he thought Halloween came a couple weeks early this year, or maybe he’s just a creepy guy; whatever the reason, 31-year-old Camarillo resident Felix Antonio Seas- Laguna found himself behind bars on October 20th when the cops finally tracked him down in the same neighborhood where residents had reported a prowler on multiple occasions.
According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Detective Mitchell Peterson, Camarillo patrol deputies responded to “a reported peeking” incident late on the night of October 15th . The reporting witness that evening described “a Hispanic male suspect with a beard peering into the window of their residence.” By the time patrol deputies arrived on the scene, there was no bearded man to be found.
Apparently unable to stop himself from indulging in this creepy-criminal behavior, just four days later, on the night of October 19 th , the same bearded man was reported by a homeowner as “peering into the window of their residence.” Once again, the suspect vanished into the night by the time the cops showed up. The ensuing investigation, however, did establish that both incidents involved the same suspect.
Less than 24 hours later, 911 Dispatch received yet another report of “the same suspect” lurking around in broad daylight in the same neighborhood. Deputies promptly responded and made contact with Seas-Laguna. Further investigation indicated that Seas-Laguna was indeed responsible for the reported crimes and he was transported to Ventura County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges of Prowling and seeking.
