Sutter County Deputies Make Property Theft Arrest, Seek Leads Amid Recent Copper Wire Thefts

“On October 31, 2023, on Pleasant Grove Road in South Sutter County, Deputies responded to a call of a stolen quad-runner. Deputies contacted 38-year-old, Daniel Morris operating the reported stolen quad-runner. Morris was booked into the Sutter County Jail for possession of stolen property, a felon in possession of pepper spray, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a meth pipe.
Regarding Copper Wire Theft, just this week alone, there have been several reports of Copper Wire Theft in South Sutter County. As of now, the investigation of Copper Wire Theft is still ongoing, and detectives are following any possible leads. Our deputies and detectives need help identifying the subject(s) in these cases.
