The Solano County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), the Sheriff’s Office VICE Detectives, and Deputy Probation Officers from Solano County Probation play a critical role in keeping our community safe.
On November 1st, the teams participated in a joint operation in Vallejo and Benicia to conduct Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) compliance checks. PRCS is a form of felony probation that was established to maintain safety and accountability. SET’s primary mission includes conducting compliance checks throughout the county to make sure anyone under PRCS is adhering to the stipulated conditions.
In a recent compliance check operation, SET confiscated an AK style pistol equipped with a loaded 30-round magazine, a stolen AK style pistol also loaded with a 30-round magazine, a loaded AK style drum magazine, two empty 30-round AK style magazines, a loaded 40 caliber handgun, additional ammunition, more than 600 grams of suspected narcotics, and several pounds of marijuana. The individual under PRCS was arrested for weapon violations and for failing to comply with the terms of their probation.
We commend the diligent efforts of the Solano County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team, VICE Detectives, and Probation Officers for their unwavering commitment to upholding the law and protecting our community.
