Fatal Stabbing Incident Sparks San Francisco Police Investigation

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – On October 30, 2023, at approximately 7:18 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to an incident in the 300 block of Leavenworth Street following a report of a stabbing.
Paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene, dispatched to aid an adult female victim who had sustained stab wounds. The victim’s injuries were deemed life-threatening, prompting an urgent transfer to a local hospital. Tragically, despite the dedicated efforts of medical personnel, the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The San Francisco Police Department Homicide detail has taken charge of the investigation into this incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the case remains an open and active investigation.
